Choosing the Right Shocks for Your Bronco:
Your shock selection should match how you use your Bronco. Whether you're a slow crawler, a Baja runner, or something in between, the right shocks make all the difference.
Single vs. dual shocks? Some may argue dual shocks are unnecessary, but at Wild Horses, we believe it’s your Bronco—so if you like the look, go for it! Performance and style should go hand in hand.

Q: I have a 72 with roughly a 2-2.5 lift. I am not sure which of the wild horses shocks would be best. Can you steer me in the right direction. Thank you.
Answered by ☆ sales - March 27, 2023
A: It would be best to measure from mounting point to mounting point for the front and/or rear shocks. With the Bronco under its own weight and body, engine and running gear installed. Then with your ride height measurement in hand, try to put that measurement between the extended and collapsed lengths of the shock. So for this shock, you would have around a 20-21 ride height measurement. We use #77115 in our WH 2.5 lift kit for the front, and 77118 for the rear, with stock mounts.

Q: 77137 are they front or rear shocks for 1966 bronco ?
Answered by ☆ sales - July 24, 2019
A: The early 66 Bronco could have stud/eye shocks front and rear, so if the correct length, this could work for all 4. Late 66-77 Broncos had eye/eye shocks in the rear. You will need to confirm how your rear shocks mount.
