Q: i purchased steel hood shocks from you some years ago, will these replacement shocks fit the brackets?

A: If you have our brackets and mounting hardware, there should be no issue, and these will be the perfect replacement.

Q: Are the stainless steel hood shocks (item # 5802 SS SHOX) interchangeable with the black steel hood shocks (item # 5802 STEEL SHOX)?

A: No, we only use the Stainless shocks with the Fiberglass hoods. Black only for the steel hoods.
