For the more aggressive rock crawler, Rockslide Engineering highly recommends this extra beefy skid plate to protect the Step Sliders from the abuse of a good trail. These skid plates were made to fit the Step Sliders like a phone case and they screw into the existing step slider with the same brackets. A cutout for the actual step will allow your steps to continue functioning. This particular configuration was designed to fit the 2-Door Bronco. See below for more info!

While Rockslide Engineering Step Sliders provide a fair bit of protection to more exposed parts of the vehicle, in harsh off-road conditions, it is recommended that you run this additional step slider skid plate for further protection.

Made of 3/16 steel, the skid plates were designed for the more aggressive rock crawler. These skid plates were made to fit the Step Sliders like a phone case and they screw into the existing step slider with the same brackets. A cutout for the actual step will allow your steps to continue functioning. This particular configuration was designed to fit the 2-Door Bronco. See below for more info.
