Early Bronco Dash Pad for 66-67 Ford Bronco
Finally, a new dash pad just like the original 66-67 Ford Bronco dash pad. The big difference between the early and later dash pad is the 66-67 Bronco dash is straight across the entire dash while the 68-77 Ford Bronco dash pad is narrower behind the steering wheel and then protrudes on the passenger side of the dash. The 66-67 Ford Bronco dash pad is also does not stick out quite as far from the windshield frame towards the steering wheel as its later model counterpart. Some 68-77 Ford Bronco owners prefer this look and this dash pad can be installed on 68-77 Bronco. Just note that the 66-67 Ford Bronco dash pad has only two defrost outlets where the later model dash has three.
Please note there is a variant of this dash pad if your Bronco has the upper and lower dash chrome trim. Seems to be on the 1967 Sport Bronco only. The two pads can be distinguished from one another by looking at the bottom of the pad. Note that the WH part in the photo has a bump that runs the length of the pad. That is how most 66-67 Bronco dash pads came.

Q: Will this dash pad fit on a 1972 Bronco? I prefer the simplicity of this one.

A: Yes, it will fit, but the defrost vent holes are different. This pad will cover the center defrost outlets.

Q: Does this fit with a family cage installed typically? No issues with the cage hitting the pad? Does the cage have to be removed for installation normally? Thanks
Answered by ☆ sales - September 8, 2015
A: It really depends on the cage and how far forward it is installed. Typically there are no issues. You should not have to remove the cage for install, but you may need to move it back, or fold the windshield forward.
