Turn Signal Switch w/Hazard Switch | 1974-77 Ford Bronco w/Manual 3-speed

Restore safe and reliable signaling in your classic Bronco with this direct replacement turn signal switch assembly for 1974-77 Ford Bronco with manual transmission and column-mounted shifter. This switch brings your turn signals and emergency flashers back to proper working order.

This replacement switch installs inside the factory steering column, just behind the steering wheel. It’s a direct fit—no modifications required. Whether you're fixing up a daily driver or going full OEM in your restoration, this switch ensures your Bronco stays street-legal and trail-ready.

  • OEM Fitment: Designed to fit 1974-77 Ford Broncos with column-shift manual transmissions.

  • Dual Function: Operates both turn signals and hazard flashers.

  • Easy Installation: Mounts directly into the steering column and wires to factory connectors.

  • Reliable Performance: Built to match factory specs for smooth, dependable operation.

Built in Hazard Switch: Early year models of the classic Ford Bronco had a hazard switch that mounted to the dash. In 1974, Ford made a change and began incorporating the emergency flasher hazard switch into the turn signal switch assembly. This moved the control of the hazard switch to a pull switch on the right side of the steering column. This turn signal switch has that hazard switch mechanism built in just like the factory did.

Whether your turn signals are acting up or your hazards have stopped working, this turn signal switch gets you back on the road with confidence. Don’t let a small part become a big problem—replace your worn-out switch today and keep your Bronco signaling like it should.

How to replace the Early Bronco Turn Signal Switch
Many early Bronco owners are too intimidated to replace the turn signal switch. There's no shame in taking the Bronco to a certified shop to have your new turn signal switch installed, but if you want to do it yourself we have some guidance to help you out. Once you understand the process, it's really not all that intimidating of a job.

The first key to replacing your 74-77 Ford Bronco turn signal switch is to ensure you know where all the wires go when you plug the new one in. Note that wire colors may vary from your existing switch. Prior to removing your old turn signal switch, make note of the pattern in which they are wired to the body harness. Just compare the wire locations of your new turn signal switch with your old switch and you will know which colors have changed. This handy wiring chart may be helpful for wiring your new 74-77 Bronco turn signal switch.

Asked by Tony, July 27, 2021

Q: Will this switch work with the Grant 2939 steering wheel adapter on a stock 76 column? Will this work to make the horn blow properly?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - July 28, 2021

A: Yes, it should work with a stock or aftermarket wheel. The grant adapter will need to be able to transfer the signal, to the horn button. We would not expect an issue, when complete and installed properly.
