Night Lighter H4 Early Bronco Headlight Harness

Upgrade your early Bronco's headlight wiring with our new Night Lighter H4 Headlight Harness. Designed to handle the demands of modern H4 bulbs, this harness ensures brighter, more reliable lighting for your classic Bronco.

Night Lighter Headlight Harness Features:

  • Enhanced Performance: Addresses the common issue of flickering headlights by using a relay system to deliver direct battery voltage (up to 14.4 volts) to your headlights, significantly improving brightness.

  • Relief for Stock Switch: The stock Bronco headlight switch struggles to handle the current needed for stock headlights and is inadequate for modern H4 bulbs. Our harness takes the load off the switch, preventing voltage drops and ensuring stable performance.

  • Plug and Play: The harness is designed for easy installation with a plug-and-play setup. Simply plug the harness in, and your old light switch will activate the new harness and relays, providing direct power from the battery to the headlights.

  • Reliable Wiring: The harness routes power directly from the battery, bypassing the original wiring setup that causes significant voltage drops, ensuring consistent and brighter lighting.

Why Choose the Night Lighter Early Bronco Headlight Harness?

  • Improved Lighting: Delivers full battery voltage to your headlights, ensuring they operate at their brightest potential.

  • Easy Installation: Plug-and-play design makes installation straightforward and hassle-free.

  • Protects Stock Switch: Reduces the load on the stock headlight switch, preventing overheating and flickering issues.

  • Durable Construction: Built to last, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.

Specifications:

  • Compatibility: Designed specifically for early Bronco models

  • Voltage: Provides up to 14.4 volts directly to headlights

  • Installation: Plug-and-play

Asked by Bruce Wyatt, December 27, 2023

Q: Do I need this night lighter harness with the painless rewire harness ?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - January 8, 2024

A: You don't need it but you may still want to add it as an option because the Painless kit still supplies headlight power through the headlight switch the same way Ford designed it. Not a good way to bring power to todays higher powered headlights.

Asked by John, October 27, 2023

Q: Will the 6129 kit work on my !976 F350 Supercab?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - November 1, 2023

A: We do not think this will fit your application. The 66-77 Bronco is a bit narrower then your truck. You may be able to modify it though, extend, if you wanted.

A: You do not have to use an additional harness. However it is a nice upgrade, and makes life easier for your headlight switch.

Asked by stewart, September 10, 2016

Q: I'm doing the install on the 6129 harness. I am trying to figure out the wire connections for the yellow connector (white red and black wires). I don't have the female connector in the spaghetti of what the prior owner left me in the vehicle). The ground is pretty straight forward but not sure about the other two wires?
Thanks!

1 Answer

Answered by sales - September 13, 2016

A: The yellow connector with the white, black, and red wires gets plugged into the original headlight plug socket. This gives power from the switch to actuate the relays for the new harness.

Asked by Steve, August 11, 2016

Q: I have your H4 headlights and need to upgrade the wiring harness, confused on what the difference is between
the 6129($35) & the 6106($70).
Can you advise what the difference is, they sound like they do the same thing.
Thanks!

1 Answer

Answered by sales - August 12, 2016

A: The 6106 has the capability of running both high and low beams at the same time, a nice option for off road or dark country driving. The 6129, is your standard high beam, low beam. Both pull power direct from the battery, rather than from the switch.

Took about 15 min to install, and that's routing wires to look neat. Fixed flickering lights. As always service was top notch .

The 40 year old headlight plugs on my harness were in serious need of replacement so I the night lighter harness looked like a great way to replace them and upgrade at the same time. The kit is designed to be plug and play. The headlights are noticeably brighter and I don't have to worry about the headlight switch overheating and losing my lights while creeping along the trails in the middle of nowhere like I had experienced in the past. Very good value priced well made product!!
