Asked by Leon Hargreaves, September 1, 2020

Q: Will the WH GORILLA WARFLARES interfere with my gas doors on my 1977?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - September 2, 2020

A: No, not if you plan and take care in installing. The Warflares are flexible, and we have found to work great around the 77 gas doors. You are limited by the doors though.

Asked by Kent, November 2, 2013

Q: Can install these using an adhesive or maybe a 3m tape, as to avoid the exposed screw look?

1 Answer

Answered by 8578 - November 3, 2013

A: We have never seen anyone accomplish this yet. Our opinion is you need to use screws or rivets. The Gorrila Warflares come with screws.

These fender flares are a great option for any enthusiast. They are extremely heavy duty and easy to install. The fit is very good and they are durable enough to hold up to all styles of driving. I would definitely recommend!

I wasn't sure I needed these but I purchased them anyway to replace the cracked fiberglass fender flares I already had on my 74. The installation was a 4 out of ten on a difficulty rating. I had my dad help hold them in place while I marked and drilled the new holes. The holes did not line up with my old fender flares (I didn't think they would). After installing the first one I was amazed at how much better they looked then the old fiberglass ones I had on. The second one went on much easier than the first one. The kit comes with everything you need to complete the install. I opted not to use the provided screws and I purchased some 10/24 x 1/2 anodized black machine screws with locking nuts. I just didn't want silver screws showing on these awesome fender flares. Now that I have the rear ones installed and they look amazing, I am mad at myself for not ordering all four of them. I will definitely purchase the fronts ASAP.

The fender flares I ordered for my 70 B-Ronco Half cab are the Bombdiggity. I've had extremely good service and the parts I've ordered have been right on the money. Although restoring an old Bronco requires a ton of money if you do it right but it's sure worth it. Give these guys a call for your parts. XXX-celent

The flares are better than I hoped. The material the flares are made from is sturdy, yet very flexible, and is contoured perfectly to fit the fenders. I would definitely buy these again.

Have yet to install them but they shipped in a protective box and appear to be extremely flexible/unbreakable. Mocked them on the rear quarters and the lines seem to match pretty well. So far so good!

Only issue was the shipping company failed to deliver on time and made up excuses. Not Wild Horses fault, but recommend using better shipping company.
