Early Bronco Windshield Braces with Heim Ends
Add critical support to your Bronco windshield frame with our Windshield Braces with Heim Ends, designed specifically for open-top adventures. When you remove your hard top, your windshield frame is left with minimal support — these braces solve that problem by connecting the upper windshield frame directly to your roll bar’s front hoop, keeping everything stable and secure.
Each brace features precision heim joints for strength, adjustability, and easy installation. Sold as a pair for both driver and passenger sides, these braces measure approximately 5.5 inches closed and 7 inches extended, giving you the flexibility to dial in the perfect fit for your setup.
Whether you're cruising topless on the trails or running your Bronco without a hard top around town, these braces provide peace of mind and structural integrity, helping to prevent unwanted movement or flex in your windshield frame.

Asked by Bryon Mefford, November 26, 2022
Q: Do you have these in black or will I need to prep and paint them?
Answered by ☆ sales - November 28, 2022
A: We do not have them available in black, you would need to prep and paint.
Asked by Robert, April 15, 2021
Q: I do not have my family cage in right now to look at, but do these mount to the top of the roll bar at the corner, and will these work under a Bimini top for the family cage?
Answered by ☆ sales - April 15, 2021
A: Yes, usually at, or near the corners. We will typically drill and tap the cage tube, to accept a bolt. Yes, they can be used under or with any top, and should have plenty of clearance. You are also free to put them where they best suit your needs.
Asked by dave, November 2, 2015
Q: what is different about these braces than those sold by competitors like TBP? Their braces are $20 and yours are $50. I can't tell from the product description why these would be over twice the price. But I buy for quality not cheapest price. Can you help differentiate?
Answered by ☆ sales - November 2, 2015
A: Our windshield braces have heim style pivoting ends, which allow the braces to mount on less than perfectly flat surfaces and at angles.
Asked by Marc, June 12, 2014
Q: I can't tell from the picture. Are these designed to be long enough to connect to a 4 point roll cage or do you need the 6 point??
Answered by ☆ sales - June 18, 2014
A: 6 point or a cross bar close to the windshield.
