Our new tunnel cover cubby is just the right place to throw your sun glasses and other small items that need a place to stay while you are on or off-road. It fits between the tunnel and the dash. It has mounting holes so that it can be mounted to the tunnel or to the underside of the dash. There will be slight clearance between the Cubby and dash if you don't have carpet or padding. Typical carpet and padding will position the Cubby perfectly between the dash and carpet. Slight trimming may be necessary for best fit. Cubby is made from brushed stainless steel.

A: No, the Cubby takes up the same real estate as the 435 shifter.

A: Ruff inside measurements but should suffice for what you are working on. 8 high x 9.5 wide x 5 depth at top and it gets wider at the bottom. The back is open so it's not an enclosed unit. Hope that helps.

Q: I can't tell from the pictures if the face of the cubby is flush with the dash or set back some. What is the set back? Also, is it only mounted by the front edge flange or are there flanges along the sides also?

A: The cubby is flush with the under side of the dash. If you look close the dash comes down then has a bend then another bend. The cubby sits flush with the last bend. The install in the photo has carpet with padding so the cubby goes from the carpet to the underside of the dash with not gap. Results may vary : ).
