Product Overview:
All radiators are not created equal, and that is especially true for early Bronco 4-core radiators. At WILD HORSES, we use an exclusive staggered core design to improve airflow around the tubes, enhancing cooling efficiency. Our 4-core early Bronco radiators are designed to fit directly into the stock 3-core mounts, so you get a superior design without the need for additional mounting brackets. Plus, there are no core charges because the entire radiator is brand new.

Asked by Rodney Pesson, June 13, 2023
Q: Will this radiator out perform the Ron Davis aluminum? My Bronco is running 200 to 210 on hot Louisiana days with the Ron Davis & aluminum water pump. Airflow doesn't seem to be the problem.
Answered by ☆ sales - June 19, 2023
A: We generally prefer the aluminum radiators for their heat transfer ability. The Tri-pass radiator should perform close to equal, and we would not expect it to better or worse by much. We do usually look at air flow and like to use electric fans when possible.
Asked by David Franko, June 27, 2022
Q: Does this radiator need wider mount or will the stock mounts work? I see it doesn't have the trans cooler, so which aftermarket trans cooler would you suggest?
Thanks Dave
Answered by ☆ sales - June 30, 2022
A: This radiator does fit in the stock radiator mounts, 3 row. It does not have a trans cooler due to the Tri-Pass. Cooler #5057 has been a popular choice.
Asked by Anonymous, September 3, 2020
Q: Does it have driver or the passenger side lower hose setup.
Answered by ☆ sales - September 4, 2020
A: This has the driver side upper, and passenger side lower connections.
Asked by Ricky, November 17, 2019
Q: How thick is this radiator?
Answered by ☆ sales - November 26, 2019
A: The core thickness is about 2 3/8. The thickest part of the radiator, where it mounts at the tanks is about 2 9/16.
Asked by Robert, October 24, 2016
Q: Can the radiator be built with reversed inlet and outlet connections? I have a 351w with the explorer front serptine setup.
Answered by ☆ sales - October 24, 2016
A: Unfortunately no. We are only able to offer the aluminum radiators in a reverse flow.
Asked by Will, October 23, 2016
Q: Is there any adverse effect in the winter? We see temps down to zero in my area. 195degree tstat compatible running a 302/c4?
Answered by ☆ sales - October 24, 2016
A: We have not seen or heard of any adverse effects of the triple flow radiator in low temps.
