Asked by Erik Juno, July 21, 2021
Q: Will the trac bar riser interfere with the bump stop or heavy duty spring cups? Also, what is the max amount of rise that it provides?
Answered by ☆ sales - July 21, 2021
A: Yes, potentially interference with both. Normally either or both can be trimmed, or room can be made, for all of it together, with modification. The max rise, c-c from the stock track bar bolt on a D30 or 71-75 D44 is 4.5. On a 76-77 D44, about 3 by design.
Asked by Glenn Weiner, April 17, 2021
Q: What size is the bolt that holds the track bar on the riser bracket and should it be welded onto the bracket? Thanks!
Answered by ☆ sales - April 20, 2021
A: The riser comes with a 3/4 x 3.5 bolt. Yes, we will normally weld the head of the bolt, to the bracket, leaving the shank side clean.
Asked by philip, March 16, 2016
Q: I have the trac bar riser for the dana 30 and it works great. problem is the axle bump stop that's there now is to short as the axle is about 6 away or so. I do not see anything about a replacement solution for this on your site.
Answered by ☆ sales - March 17, 2016
A: We have taller front bump stops, #'s 1528, 3 and 1539, 4 1/2 depending on the amount of travel you want.
