Early Bronco Tapered Sleeves for F150 Steering Knuckles
If you’re upgrading your Early Bronco to front disc brakes using 76-79 F150 or 78-79 Bronco steering knuckles, you’re going to need these tapered sleeves. The knuckles from those years have larger tapered holes, which means your stock 66-75 Bronco tie rod and drag link won’t fit properly without these handy little adapters.
Our tapered sleeves bring the hole size down to the perfect fit, letting you keep your stock tie rod and drag link setup after the conversion. Simple, effective, and essential for a smooth disc brake swap!

Q: How do install the sleeves? I put them on the linkage and tried to pull them in by tightening, but they got stuck. Now I'm trying to put the sleeve into the knuckle first, but am having a hard time. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Answered by ☆ sales - March 28, 2016
A: The sleeves are designed to be used in F150 or 78-79 knuckles with the larger taper. They should just slip into the knuckle, and be held in place by tightening you 67-75 size ball joint. If the taper is not large enough, you can ream to size with our #2385.
