Q: Hi, I have a '72 Bronco, a restoration, on the draglink there is the tab in place, and on the frame there is a bracket ready for the stabilizer. Can I just purchase one of the brackets? I'm not being cheap, just don't need both brackets. dne'

Asked by Eddy, June 6, 2022

Q: Why use a stabilizer shock? When should you use one and when should you not?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - June 6, 2022

A: A stabilizer shock will add resistance to the steering setup. Most good handling Broncos do not need them. Some folks like the look or idea of it, or try to use a stabilizer as a band-aid or remedy for other issues.

This did require some drilling to the front crossmember on my 67 but nonetheless was a easy job.
