Full description

CNC-bent stainless steel brake lines for 66-77 Ford Broncos. Kits for all factory early Bronco applications. Dana 30, Dana 44, manual drum or power disc brakes

Our stainless steel brake line sets will replace every hard line on your early Bronco. These brake line sets also include hard lines to replace the brake hoses that run from the master cylinder to the proportioning or junction valve. These CNC bent brake line kits have the same fittings as the stock hard lines and are designed to bolt into the stock locations. Made in the USA.

Early Bronco Stainless Steel Brake Line Set Options:
  • 1966 Ford Bronco
For use with factory single reservoir master cylinder, Dana 30 front end, manual drum brakes

  • 1967-71 Ford Bronco
For use with factory dual reservoir master cylinder, Dana 30 front end, manual drum brakes

  • 1971-75 Ford Bronco
For use with factory dual reservoir master cylinder, Dana 44 front end, manual drum brakes

  • 1976-77 Ford Bronco
For use with factory dual reservoir master cylinder, Dana 44 front end, manual front disc brakes

  • 1976-77 Ford Bronco
For use with factory dual reservoir master cylinder, Dana 44 front end, power front disc brakes

Note: If you have disc brakes with a proportioning valve on a 66-75 Bronco, we suggest purchasing our #3077 custom brake hose kit to go from the master cylinder to the prop valve. If you are using a stock master cylinder you will need one adapter to fit these lines. If you are using our power brake kit or our heavy duty master, you will not need any adapters. Slight bending of new lines may be required during installation. If you have a modified (non-stock) brake system some of the lines may not fit without the use of adapters.

Asked by Chris, July 6, 2023

Q: I have a 69 Bronco with a Dana 44, and putting on your Hydroboost system. I have disc front and drum rears. What kit would be best to use? Thanks

1 Answer

Answered by sales - July 6, 2023

A: Normally we would not go with a kit, as they are designed for a bone stock Bronco and would leave you with un-used lines. It would be better to purchase the lines separately.

Asked by Lance Gardner, April 8, 2023

Q: Hello! I was looking at getting this 3191 brake line set but I'm not seeing a set for my Bronco. Mine is a 1970 with Dana 44. Would I want the 71-75 with Dana 44 for my application? If it helps, I'm also using your drum to disk conversion kits for both front and rear brakes. Any help is appreciated! Thanks, Lance

A: Lance, we would use the 71-75 kit for the Dana 44. You could also buy the lines individually, as the kit may have lines you will not need.

Asked by Richard D Geelan, November 21, 2022

Q: Do you have a kit with just the Dana 44 Axle and Ford 9 inch axle hard line stainless steel brake lines (just the 4 lines that mount on the axles, front and rear)?
Do your stainless steel lines use stainless steel attaching threaded fittings or are they plated steel?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - November 28, 2022

A: We have the fronts and rears separate, but not in a kit, just 2 part numbers, 3197 & 3198. The lines are stainless, but the fittings are zinc plated.

Asked by Wayne, October 14, 2015

Q: Planning to purchase hard line set for my '73 Bronco. I am installing power brakes and your front and rear disc brake conversion kits as well as 1 body lift.. It looks to me like the 3191 PB is the right kit for me. I note that the 3191 is listed for both MB and PB with no other distinguishing identifiers. Which kit set is right for me?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - October 14, 2015

A: You would be best off with the #3191 71-75 MB, and adding the #3196. The 76-77 version has the D44 brake lines for stock Ford disc brakes, not the conversion.

Asked by Sean, January 9, 2014

Absolutely perfect fit. Had the entire kit installed in a couple of hours. Could not have been easier. Thank you Wild Horses!

Brake lines were bent properly and were high quality.

The line set was good and all the flares were professionally done. My only complaint is that my box was destroyed in shipping and I was missing two lines because of a large hole in the box. Luckily I was not using one of those two lines because of a drum to disc conversion. As with all car projects nothing goes perfect and the same goes for the bends. The bends are very close but it will require a little bit of work to make the lines fit correctly.

I was disapointed the pre-bent brake lines were not close to my factory lines. I will probably have to cut and re flare the lines.

I got this set for Chirstmas and it fits perfectly! Great gift. I wasn't looking forward to bending brake lines and then flaring, so using this brake line set was a real time and headache saver.
