These new stainless steel hood hinges are specifically made for WH. You can't compare them to chop sawed piano hinges. The mounting holes, (hood to cowl and hinge to hood) are pre-cut for you. The ends of our hinges are pan spun for a finished look which is better than original. They come with mounting hardware.

Q: I am looking to replace my hood hinges on my EB steel hood. How would you recommend attaching the SS hinges to a factory hood?

A: We would weld the hinges to the hood. Special wire or rod would be needed to join the two different materials together.

These are great! I made the mistake of buying the piano hinge type first and they were no good for my hood. The Wild Horses Stainless Hinges work just as they are supposed to. Great product!
