Early Bronco Rocker Guards with Nerf Step
If you love tackling tough trails with your early Bronco, it's crucial to have protection for your rocker panels! Finding a 66-77 Ford Bronco that has seen off-road use and still has straight rocker panels is a rarity. This is one of the many reasons why it's smart to protect them before they take a beating. Our extreme duty 1/4-inch thick steel early Bronco rocker guards are the solution, saving you from expensive bodywork.Wild Horses Rock Rails come uncut so you can fit them perfectly on your Bronco, no matter what brand of flares you're running or what position your flares are in. Our early Bronco rocker guards will fit everything from an uncut classic Ford Bronco to an early Bronco running our popular Gorilla Warflares fender flares. Mounting holes on the back side of the guards are pre-drilled for you. The front side of the rocker is not drilled so you can get the hole spacing perfect for your rig. The 1.5" OD, 0.120 wall nerf bars are attached to our Early Bronco Rock Rails in five spots. They are completely welded for superior strength and rigidity. These nerf bars not only help protect your rocker sheet metal, but they aid in keeping the rest of your Bronco away from potential damage.

Q: I understand that there muse be holes drilled in to the rocker panel. But what is it that the screws are actually attaching to? The thin metal of the rocker? Or is there a way to get a nut in there?
Answered by ☆ Stephen - July 19, 2019
A: They come with stainless screws DON'T use them if you are planning on using the skis! The screws will hold them on there, but not enough for abuse or use. Do yourself a favor and buy rivet nuts that pinch the body. I used 1/4-20 which are perfect.

A: They attach to the thin metal of the rocker panel. Drop down on a rock hard and the leverage from the rocker will completely destroy your rocker panel. Do Not buy these if you plan on driving trails like the Rubicon or Fordyce.

A: Typically they are just held with screws. The rockers are closed off in the back with no access.
