Asked by Brody Long, December 9, 2019

Q: Can you explain how these are different? I have a 1978 Ford F-150 4x4 and these look EXACTLY like this. I did some research and people are saying its the same for 1978-1779. Can you tell me exactly what the difference is?

A: The bolt hole spacing where the coil cups mount to the top of the cap and radius arm, are in different positions for the early Bronco compared to the 78-79. Actually, the radius arm and C'caps are different. If you use the EB caps or arms on a full size or vice versa, the coil mounting cup bolt holes will not line up.

Asked by Dan, May 22, 2019

Q: How are they different? Is it just that they don't come with the shock mount? If so, that is fine as I am installing extended radius arms that relocate the front shock to behind the axle. I don't want to grind the shock mounts off of my stock ones. Dana 44 is a Dana 44 right?

A: No different, these are stock replacement caps. They give you a fresh start against the wear and tear, shock mounts and rust. 1966-1977 Bronco Dana 30 and 44.
