Asked by Mike, June 23, 2024 22:26

Q: Trying to map out wire routing for these and potential power locks. What's the number of wires on these that need to go through the door jam?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - June 24, 2024 16:34

A: With the black or hi tech switches there are 12 wires for the driver side an 6 wires for the passenger side. The Nu-cranks appear to only have 6 wires per side.

Asked by Richard Huffman, February 4, 2020

Q: Does this kit allow the window to drop fully into the door or does it leave part of the glass showing when in the down position?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - February 4, 2020

A: This kit allows the window to set all the way down in the door. Just one of the reasons we love this kit!

Asked by Chris, February 4, 2020

Q: Will this work with the solid side window kits that eliminate the small triangle window?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - February 5, 2020

A: This kit is only designed for use with the stock window. We have heard of others combining the two kits together with success, but you are mixing and matching parts to make it work together. We have no one kit to do both easily,at this time.

Asked by Nick, August 21, 2019

Q: Is there an option to control the passenger window from the driver side if you go for the Nu-Crank option which allows you to use the stock window crank as the up/down button.

1 Answer

Answered by sales - August 21, 2019

A: Nu-Relics offers a separate chrome square GM style switch that can be wired in and hidden out of site. They do not have an original looking handle mechanism to control both from the driver door handle at this time.

It is worth the time it takes to install it It should come with a fuse rating , Requires a 20 amp to operate both windows at the same time
