So you're tired of holding back those horses at the stop light. This kit will help ease your pain. With the WH kit there is no need to modify the inner fender. The brand new, dual diaphragm, booster fits right in place. Our black powder coated bracket holds the booster and our new heavy duty master cylinder (#3079) to the fire wall. Brake lines are optional because of all the custom things you might be doing such as brake lock etc.

Asked by Tim, April 25, 2022

Q: I want to upgrade the brakes on my 72 bronco. I would like to do it in a couple stages and do the booster first and then later put front disc brakes on. Is this booster compatible with both drum and disc brakes? Thanks!

1 Answer

Answered by sales - April 26, 2022

A: Yes, it is compatible with all drum brakes, disc and drum or 4 wheel disc brakes. People will normally do a disc brake conversion first, for better and more consistent front braking. The power brake kit does not have a requirement other than 18 in. of manifold vacuum to operate properly.

Asked by Craig Taylor, December 28, 2021

Q: I have the same booster and master cylinder I purchased for another project. I'd like to install them in my 71 with a 351 Windsor. Is the bracket and this kit available separately. I want to avoid interference with my driver side inner fender which I think I would have with a 76/77 bracket.

Answered by sales - December 30, 2021

A: We do have the bracket kit alone, #3051. It comes off of the firewall more level than the 76-77 version, so clearance is usually not an issue.

Asked by Kevin Thierry, May 23, 2019

Q: This will work on a 77? ( The bracket) Picked up a 77 with no bracket.

1 Answer

Answered by sales - May 28, 2019

A: Yes, you can use our kit on a 76-77's as well. The big difference is the stock 76-77 bracket dives down towards the inner wheel well, where ours does not.
