Early Bronco Pitman Arms
Early Bronco Pitman Arm
The early Bronco pitman arm connects the steering gearbox to the drag link. We offer stock 66-77 Ford Bronco pitman arms as well as early Bronco drop pitman arms. For stock height to 2.5" lift early Broncos, a stock pitman arm is generally all you need. If you have 3" of suspension lift or more, we recommend an early Bronco drop pitman arm. Our drop pitman arms drop the drag link by four inches. This allows the drag link to operate at the angle it was designed for, saving wear and tear on the ball joints and improving the handling of your classic Ford Bronco.NOTE: You will not need a drop pitman arm if you have the F100 power steering conversion. Early 1966 Ford Bronco pitman arms can be identified by the casting #C6TZ-3590-H on the top of the pitman arm. If you have an early 1966 Bronco pitman arm, we recommend changing the drag link and using the #1275 drop pitman arm or #2504 stock pitman arm for your application.
