Q: Do you have to clean the rubber of the seal with some sort of cleaner first? I've tried using 3M black weatherstrip adhesive and it adheres to the paint but won't stick at all to the weatherstripping??
Answered by ☆ sales - April 4, 2022
A: Not usually. Usually just clean and dry. We do like to coat both surfaces, the body, and the seal with a light coat, and let dry. Then a coat on either, to do a final stick together.

Q: Does the steel hard top have to be removed to replace the seals?
Answered by ☆ sales - October 8, 2019
A: No, the lower door seals can be installed with the hard top, and doors attached.
