A: Technically no. This is for 70-77. A legitimate 1966 Bronco liftgate will have a handle with a separate lock. The latches are also different. We will need to do a hands on check to get a better answer than that.

Q: Have 66 bronco hard top, will this fit it? Can't seem to find the latches for the interior mechanism for mine

A: There will be minor differences, but, yes, it is the same physical size, and should be able to be adapted to your early top.
