Q: I have an 85 302 sbf manual trans with a 68 bronco bell housing bolts are 5.25 center to center for starter . I'm thinking this should work ? Can you check specs for bolt pattern please . Going into bronco with ax15

A: The bolt pattern on our starter is the 5.25 center to center. As long as you have a 164 tooth flywheel, there should be no problem.

Q: I have a 92 mustang 5.0 motor, a 69 bronco bell housing, a 164 tooth flywheel, and an AX-15 manual transmission. Will this work as a replacement starter for me?

A: Yes, there should be no issue. Make sure to select M/T for manual transmission for the AX-15.

A: We do not keep any type of heat shield for starters. In most situations, it is not needed.

A: Yes, as long as it is mounted to a 289, 302 or 351W motor, and using a 164 tooth flex plate. You would use the Automatic version of the starter.

A: Yes, if ordering online, select the drop down menu choose tranny near the Add to Cart button and select Automatic or Manual. If you call, just specify which you need. Both are ordered under the same part number.
