Early Bronco Side Auxiliary Fuel Tank
New OE style poly gas tank is an exact replica of the stock early Bronco front auxiliary fuel tank. This early Bronco fuel tank is a replica of the original 1970-77 Ford Bronco front driver side auxiliary fuel tank. This fuel tank mounts on the driver side of a 66-77 Ford Bronco under the seat area and adds about 8 gallons of extra fuel capacity—perfect for those long drives or off-road adventures. Our reproduction early Bronco auxiliary fuel tank holds approximately 8 gallons of fuel and is fitted with the overfill vent and EVAP vent hose fittings. The overfill vent first came stock on the Ford Bronco around 1969. The EVAP vent hose fittings were factory on mid-1970 Ford Broncos and later. Owners of earlier model Broncos will need to cap off any unused vent hose fittings.

OE-Type Fuel Sending Unit Mount for Leak Free Performance: Don't settle for other aftermarket poly auxiliary fuel tanks that use bolts to retain the fuel sender. These aftermarket tanks are notorious for leaking due to overtightening, under tightening or uneven fastening of the securing bolts. Our factory style auxiliary early Bronco fuel tank doesn't have this problem. It uses a locking ring to retain the fuel sender just like the stock original tank. This locking ring setup is extremely reliable at providing a leak-proof seal for your classic Bronco gas tank.
Factory Type Metal Fuel Filler & Vent Tubes: Another premium feature of our early Bronco side fuel tanks is the factory-correct metal fuel filler and vent tubes. These tubes are zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. This auxiliary fuel tank is made exclusively for Wild Horses 4x4 to our specifications. We have ensured these tubes are installed correctly in the gas tank so that there is no interference with the sending unit as can be a common issue with some other versions of this tank.

A: Normally a fuel safe, rubber vacuum cap, or a short length of hose does the job from one to the other.

not sure why the second picture shows a sending unit installed but mine did not come with one. should have the sending unit in the "suggested parts" field. other than that, always happy with the quality and service from WH!!
