Firewall Insulator, 66-77 Ford Bronco SKU: 3405
Firewall Insulator, 66-77 Ford Bronco
Product Overview:
Our firewall insulators are molded to fit. They have a PVC plastic fronting and come complete with the under dash piece, firewall piece and fasteners. These help keep the engine heat out of the driver's compartment and help to insulate the cab for all-weather use. They are easy to install when you're doing a frame-up project but can also be installed without removing the dash.

Q: How do you recommend installing the upper insulating panel with foil backing? Glue I would assume. Does the foil glue to the metal or the insulation. I don't have one for reference. What glue works best for this? thanks for your help.

A: Glue would be best, either a spray glue, or another type of quick setting adhesive. The upper panel will be installed by shape, not side. The thinner side to the passenger, thicker to driver.

Q: I am going to purchase the Racket Jacket Floor System, should I also purchase this Firewall Insulator for max insulation? Or does the Racket Jacket Floor System cover the firewall?
Thanks!

A: The racket jacket covers the floor up to the firewall. Get the firewall insulator and it will take care of the firewall and meet up with the racket jacket floor kit.

Q: Do you have suggested installation of the firewall insulator? Can it be installed without removing everything?
Answered by ☆ sales - August 15, 2016
A: We do not have installation instructions for the 3405. You need to have a bare firewall, or close to it, to install. There are too many items that pass through it.
