Q: Hi, I see the answer below is 9.94 length. Is my assumption correct that the 9.94 measurement is from the center of the u-joint cap to the opposite end of the shaft?
Answered by ☆ sales - September 15, 2023
A: Correct, from center of u-joint to the end of the splines.

Q: What is the length of this axle shft? 9.94?? Thanks.
Answered by ☆ WH tech - March 20, 2013
A: That is correct, these are for Chevy brakes and are 9.94 long. When using Ford brakes you want a 9.72 long stub shaft (#8690).
Now, you can use the Ford stub shaft with Chevy brakes but you can not use the Chevy stub with Ford brakes.
