Asked by Barrett, March 30, 2023
Q: Is the upgraded defroster duct better than the included ducts ?
Thanks
Answered by ☆ sales - April 4, 2023
A: We have #5201, the heavy duty defrost duct, which is heavier than stock, but it is not included in the kit. The duct hoses in the kit, are the same as stock, #5217, and do not have an upgrade option.

Q: I have a 68 without a heater; is this kit truely complete or will there be other items I need to order to complete install? (hardware, ballest etc?)
Answered by ☆ sales - November 9, 2021
A: You will need a switch, wires, hoses and clamps, heater resistor, heater control valve, and an engine to flow coolant through it. There may be some miscellaneous hardware needed as well, but we tried to cover most everything that normally needs replaced.
Asked by Nick, August 6, 2015
Q: I notice that you sell a more powerful heater motor/fan to upgrade old heaters. Does this brand new system include a more powerful or efficient motor/fan? Or is it just a brand new (original spec) box?
Answered by ☆ sales - August 10, 2015
A: The new system comes with the standard motor and squirrel cage. We can upgrade you to the heat blaster for an upcharge. You will still need to modify the hole in the heater box for the larger squirrel cage to fit.
