Full description
Early Bronco Rear Quarter Panel Guards
If you really want to cover your rear, our new Armor-Geddon early Bronco tail guards are just what you're looking for! We know the concept isn't new, but the design and execution of these early Bronco quarter panel guards is mind-blowing! Made from completely new tooling, the fit is far superior than any previous 66-77 Ford Bronco rear quarter panel protection guards. These D13, 0.20" steel tail guards will take a hit and protect your Bronco's quarter panel from buckling.
As far as the install goes, you will only need minimal fabrication skills. The tail light hole is pre-cut, but you will need to cut the armor to fit your specific flares along with cutting a hole for your rear marker light if you wish to keep it. If you are running any kind of top, you will also need to cut out the upper portion of the armor to fit with the hardtop. In order to give you the freedom of creativity, no hardware is supplied. Check out two install videos below highlighting a couple different ways to mount the Armor-Geddon early Bronco tail guards.

Q: what are people doing for the gap created by the rear caps when wanting to put on a soft top or hard top.
Answered by ☆ sales - November 20, 2023
A: Some folks will trim the guards to make room for a top. Others will use a plate or spacer to make up the gap on the bedrail for the rest of the top to meet the guards.
