Full description

Our Premium system 3 suspension kit is geared toward street use with mild camping/fishing type off-roading and comes standard with our Extreme Duty U-bolt kit, Bilstein 5100 Shock Absorbers, our front variable rate coils, and our progressive rear leaf springs.

Our Premium suspension kits come standard with the Extreme Duty U-bolt and plate kit. We use Bilstein 5100's specifically valved for use with our front variable rate coils and our progressive rear leaf springs.

The system 3 is geared toward street use with mild camping/fishing type off-roading. The kit comes exactly as pictured starting with the front coils, Bilstein shocks, c-bushings, trac bar bushings and rubber degreed radius arm bushings. For the rear section you get our progressive leaf springs, Bilstein shocks, urethane spring and shackle bushings and our Extreme Duty u-bolt and plate kit.

There are many options (see related products)that can be included. We recommend front and rear brake hoses and right and left e-brake cables. For increased stability in the corners add a front anti sway bar.

Please don't fail to call with any questions. We would be happy to design a system specifically to accommodate your needs and budget.

You will need to add a drop pitman arm (see below) to keep the draglink and trac bar in alignment unless you already have one or are using the inside of the frame F100 2WD steering box conversion. Call us if you have any questions.

Asked by Chris, March 31, 2021

Q: What hardware do I need for installing this kit? I have the spring and shackle bolt kit, the radius arm bolt kit, shackles, and nothing for the front :-) I'm working from a bare frame. Thanks!!

A: We now offer #'s 1011 and 1013 which can get you some shock hardware, and hardware for the coil spring mounting. Other than that, the local hardware store should have any additional replacements.

Asked by Paul, May 18, 2020

Q: I purchased your 3.5 lift kit. My bronco wonder. what angle are the c-bushings?
Do I need to purchase some with more angle?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - May 18, 2020

A: The 3.5 kits come standard with 7 degree bushings. Target caster is between +4 and +9. 7 degree bushings are the most you can get in a bushing. If you need more caster, radius arm drop brackets, or extended radius arms would be the next step.

Asked by Barry, June 5, 2014

Q: I now have an older 3.5 lift on my 70EB. I'd like to change to your new 2.5 lift with Bilstein shocks. Do I need to worry about my drive line being too long with lower lift? If I do, how do I check this measurement? Thanks, BA

Answered by sales - June 6, 2014

A: With only this slight change in lift height you should be OK. As long as you end up with a minimum of about 1.5 collapsible area your good.

Asked by Kyle Misko, November 26, 2013

Q: Will the premium 3.5 suspension system clear 35 tires? My rear fenders are cut. Thanks

A: Cut the front also. Use WH Gorilla WarFlares and the 35s will fit. Take a look at our video linked here. You may have to copy and paste the link.

Took off my one and a half inch lift kit from wild horses and put on the 3 1/2 inch lift kit on a 1975 uncut waggon. I’ve got 30 inch BFG on 15 inch steel wheels. Bottom line is it rides smoother it bucks less, and I did use all the hardware options and the adjustable tracking bar. Went with the bilsteins on this one, not sure what the difference is as the stack of leafs looks the same, obviously more of an arch, but whatever doesn’t spill my latte or my mai tai so I’m happy,,, it’s a cool cruise, much better improvement… this is daily driver, I bounce around all over downtown San Antonio and it’s all good—- thanks Matt!!

Great kit. Ride is smooth and you no longer tense up on every pothole. Only suggestion is to include the shims and the bolt kit, or offer them as add-ons. I missed those and burned a couple weeks waiting for additional orders.
