The WH All Terrain Rock Crawler coils tackle everything from the extreme conditions found in racing the Mexican 1000 to the boulder strewn trails from coast to coast and they are well suited to get you to the mall and back in your daily driver. The all terrain Rock Crawlers are built by design to be the perfect balance of comfort and durability. They have established a proven track record in both the on and off-road environments.
Rock Crawler 5 1/2" Coil Springs Pair
When off-roading was beginning to grow in popularity, most of the Bronco coil springs on the market where a linear rate design with very heavy spring rates. The bar size was so large that the springs barely fit the coil cups. What you had was a stiff, non-flexible coil with a ride that would jar the fillings out of your teeth. It became obvious to us that we needed something different, so we designed and developed the ground breaking Rock Crawler coil line. At that time, the Rock Crawlers were the softest coil you could buy for the EB. These days you can get coils so soft that you can't hardly go around a street corner without body roll that makes your Bronco resemble a boat in the water. In contrast, our All Terrain Rock Crawler coils are completely compatible with daily driving and off-road terrain from coast to coast. Since their introduction, we have received overwhelming positive feedback from WH coil users. The 5.5" All Terrain coils are available in Red, Blue, and Black.

Q: What is the uncompressed height of these springs.

A: The 5.5 coils new, have a free height of 21.5. The load height is expected to be about 17.5.

Q: The 5.5 coils, are they for the 73-79 full size?

A: The 5.5 Early Bronco coil springs will fit the full size, but, normally give the full size 78-79 Bronco and trucks a 4 lift, due to the extra weight. The 4 lift coils are the tallest and only full size coil we offer.

Q: What is the installed height? I currently have a 351W, aftermarket front bumper and Warn 8274 winch. Looking for springs with a 20 installed height or close to that. Thanks!

A: Our 5 1/2 coils have an installed height of 17.5. These are the tallest springs we carry.

A: The 5.5 coils have a 236 1st rate and 375 +/- 10% 2nt rate.
