Q: Will these work with the disc brake conversion kit #3005NETW?
Answered by ☆ sales - January 22, 2025 00:47
A: Yes, these axles do work with the GM disc conversion.
Asked by Geoff, April 1, 2023
Q: Do you sell the dust shield/slinger that goes on the outer end of the INNER axles, or do I need to press them off my stock 77 axles and move them to these axles?
Answered by ☆ sales - April 4, 2023
A: We do not offer a slinger for the inner axles. If your stock 77 slingers will fit, then you may use them. Otherwise, we leave the tubes open, so any debris that gets in, can get back out.
Asked by Daran Rumbaugh, February 6, 2022
Q: Are these axles the same diameter as stock where the slinger goes? I already have parts to rebuild my front Dana44 but realized that I need new axles, and would like to use my new, stock sized slingers. Thanks
Answered by ☆ sales - February 7, 2022
A: Yes, these use the same stock Dana 44 slingers on the stub axles. Like our #8860.
Asked by William Richard Lay, February 23, 2020
Q: Is this a 30 spline
Answered by ☆ sales - February 24, 2020
A: The inner axles are 30 splined. The outer stub axles have 19 splines at the hub.
Asked by Clint, June 10, 2019
Q: Will these fit a 1969 Ford bronco with a Dana 30?
Answered by ☆ sales - June 11, 2019
A: No, the Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles are not interchangeable.
Asked by Jack, May 8, 2019
Q: Will these axles fit through drum brake knuckles ? or do you have to remove knuckles to install ?
Thanks
Answered by ☆ sales - May 8, 2019
A: Typically the axles will fit through the hole in the 6 bolt drum knuckles. We have had a couple folks have to clean up the casting on the knuckle in a couple instances. Usually, it is not an issue. We are not aware of anyone having to remove the knuckle.
