Many people want to use the Explorer front dress because of the extra clearance in front of the radiator. This crank pulley will allow you to use the Explorer 5.0 front dress on your old 289,302 or 351W. As you can see this pulley is designed for the three bolt harmonic balancer.

Q: I have a 351w I am looking to install the Explorer Serpentine system, and currently need a harmonic balancer and crank pully. Two questions:
1) Will your PRO STREET HARMONIC DAMPER Item #: 8058, work with this system?
2) And do you make a Custom Crank Pulley four-bolt pattern that will work with this system?

A: Yes, the 8058 will work with the 2502 pulley. The pulley is only available with a 3 bolt pattern. The balancer has both 3 and 4 bolt patterns.

Q: In the question below, it was mentioned WH offered a flat faced balancer to pair with this pulley. I have a 351w I am looking to install a Explorer Serp system, and currently need a harmonic balancer. Instead of going through DamperDude to rebalance, I heard I could use the above conversion pulley with 28oz. What is the part number for the flat faced balancer you offer? Thank you

A: We would normally use # 8057. It has the flat face and 3 bolt pattern for our Explorer pulley and is available for the 351W and 28oz.

Q: Will this pulley work on a 74-79 302? Mine is a three bolt. Having a hard time finding one. Thanks

A: Yes, we would not expect an issue as long as you have a flat faced balancer, like we offer. Some balancers have a step, which will force the pulley out too far. Our pulley fits 3 or 4 bolt balancers.
