Q: Are these a mock hood pin? or real hood pin that mounts to the frame and really secures the hood? If real, what is the total length of the pin?
Answered by ☆ sales - May 11, 2020
A: These are real hood pins, normally mounted where the stock hood bump stops mount at the core support. Typically, the pin tip to tip is, 3 1/4. There is 1 1/2 of thread, then, 1 1/4 from the end of thread to the center of pin hole, and about 1/2 above the hole, adjusted and held with 2- 1/2 nuts.
