Full description
These headers were specifically designed for Wild Horses to fit 66-77 Broncos with late model 5.0 fuel injected engines. They will also fit earlier 289 and 302 engines. No starter interference problems and easy installation. These are the best choice for low-end torque and horse power. Our advanced ceramic coating helps keep the under hood temps cooler. They come complete with all hardware gaskets and 2.5" starter tubes with fittings to hook up O2 sensors.
- Heavy wall 14 gauge steel tubing
- 3/8" flanges
- Thick steel collector dome
Now how do these accessories address each of the common issues associated with using headers?
- The Stage 8 locking header bolts will completely stop the bolts from loosening. This will save your gaskets for as long as possible.
- Seal your headers to the maximum level with the Reflex headers seals. They won't Burn Out: 100% flexible graphite construction means Remflex gaskets are good for up to 3,000°F — far exceeding that of any vehicle's exhaust system temperature!
- Save your spark plug wires with our Plug Boot Protectors. These protectors will keep the boots from burning, preventing misfire and allow the spark to get to the plug where it belongs.
HEADER TECH
- None of our headers will fit the 302 engines with 3 or 4 port air injector tubes. These were sometimes used on 74-75 Broncos as part of the emissions system. All of the headers can be modified to fit by grinding clearance on header flange.
- None of our headers are designed to fit 5.0 "P" heads.
- Headers do not require any modification of the smog system to render it inoperable. Existing smog systems should always stay intact. Consult your local laws before ordering.

Asked by Mark, June 15, 2022
Q: I will be installing the WH 1.5 suspension lift along with a 1 body lift. The transmission is an AX15. Which will be a better fit? The shorty or the long tub headers? Thank you.
Answered by ☆ sales - June 17, 2022
A: We prefer the shorty headers. Easier to install, and more wiggle room. Long tubes are great, but trickier to install and sometimes require minor modification depending on your Bronco..
Asked by Rick, January 22, 2022
Q: Do you have an exhaust system that bolts up to these headers? I'm using your 2 body lift, and 3.5 suspension lift, an AOD transmission, and the 23 gallon fuel tank upgrade on my 71 Bronco 302 V8.
Answered by ☆ sales - January 24, 2022
A: Sorry no. We do not offer any exhaust kits. Normally we prefer to have one built at a muffler shop, over an off the shelf Kit. As Bronco's get further and further from stock, it can be hard to plan for a, fit everything, every time, exhaust.

A: You will likely need to modify them to make them work, due to the size of the C6.
Asked by Hank, November 21, 2013
Q: will these headers fit a 351W block with GT40 heads from a 5.0L without causing interference or starter removal issues? thx
Answered by ☆ 8578 - November 21, 2013
A: Most of the time the Shortys rub the passenger inner wheel well. That is why we do not list them for the 351W. We do have a lot of people running them on trail rigs with 351W most of them have removed the inner wheel well for ventilation so it's not an issue.
