The MSD 8.5 wires are the ultimate performance wire. It's extremely low-resistance combined with the ability to suppress electromagnetic interference is a combination that defies the common laws of physics. Less resistance means more energy is going to make it to the spark plug to ignite the air/fuel mixture.
The Super Conductor uses a copper alloy conductor resulting in less than 50 ohms per foot of wire. This ensures that the most energy possible makes it to the spark plug. This combination is encased in a heavy duty sleeve that will withstand abrasion and high temperatures.

Q: Do these wires come with the msd logo on the ends that connect to the distributor like shown on the box? Or do they have the msd wire separator cap tops?

A: The MSD wires include both style boots for the distributor. Logo boots, and separator boots.

Q: Will these fit a msd distributor ready to run on a 1966 mustang 289? Also will these work with the machined plug wire divided 6626 you advertise below?

A: Yes, they will work with your Mustang 289's MSD distributor, and the wire dividers accept wires from 7-9 MM.

A: They are universal V-8 length, with the plug end terminated. We have the wires available in red or black.
