Q: hello, i have a 1978 bronco custom. how do i know if i need the locking or non locking steering wheel column adaptor?

A: If the key is not in the ignition, if are you still allowed or able to turn the steering wheel side to side, lock to lock, ie. non-locking column. Or, without keys, does the steering wheel lock, making you unable to turn the steering wheel, ie. locking column.

Q: Hi there -- I'm looking to replace the steering wheel on my 91 Bronco with Item #: 2769NET and just wanted to confirm that this adapter is what I would need to purchase in addition to the steering wheel for it to work. Thank you!

A: Correct, adapter, wheel, and a horn button. Make sure to select- locking or non-locking style to match your column.
