This rear center brake hose connects the brake hard lines on your 78-79 Bronco frame to the brake lines on your rear axle housing. This hose is extended to support suspension lifts up to 7-inches. Restore your Bronco’s braking performance with our high-quality replacement rear center brake hose. Designed to fit 1978-79 Ford Broncos, this braided stainless brake hose ensures reliable braking performance and unmatched durability. Built in-house to strict DOT specifications, this hose offers an upgrade from the factory original. Our brake lines are manufactured in-house with OEM-quality components.
Direct Fit Replacement: Designed as a direct replacement of the rear center brake hose on 76-79 Ford Broncos.

Protective Sleeve: Over the top of the stainless hose, you will find a protective cover with printed lay lines. This jacket keeps out dirt and grime that causes ordinary stainless hoses to deteriorate much quicker.
Rubber Support Inserts: Rubber support inserts between each hose and fitting enables the assembly to function properly under constant movement and vibration.
OEM-Style Construction: Unlike most aftermarket brake hoses, we use OEM style fittings for all our stainless steel braided hoses. This provides our customers a superior fit and ease of installation.

Built In-House to DOT Specifications
Everybody claims to have DOT "approved" or "certified" brake hoses, but do they? We felt you should know that the Department of Transportation has accepted and recorded WILD HORSES' designation symbol "*359" which was submitted in accordance with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 106, Brake hoses.
This symbol is crimped into each of our OEM style end fittings, as required by Standard No. 106 and identifies Wild Horses Inc. as the manufacturer of the brake hose assemblies you see here. We manufacture both our rubber and our stainless steel hose assemblies using state of the art equipment with the highest quality materials available. Bottom line is WH brake hose assemblies are made to the specifications set forth by the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 106, Brake hoses.
Put our hose assemblies side by side with the generic ones from others and you will see a big difference in the materials, quality and construction.

Q: What's the diameter of the hose? I would like to link it to my Air locker hose and need to know for clamp size.

A: 5/16 - 7.70 is the outside diameter.

A: Both ends accept 3/8-24 male thread. The hose is finished about 24 end to end.
