Front Disc Brake Caliper Hose | Stock Replacement for 76-79 Bronco
Restore your Bronco’s braking performance with our high-quality stock replacement front disc brake caliper hoses. Designed to fit 1976-79 Ford Broncos, these hoses ensure reliable braking power and durability, whether you choose rubber or stainless steel braided options. Built in-house to strict DOT specifications, these hoses offer a direct replacement for factory originals with improved materials and corrosion resistance.
-
Direct Fit Replacement: Designed for stock front disc brake calipers on 76-79 Ford Broncos.
-
DOT Certified: Manufactured to meet or exceed Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 106.
-
Durable Materials: Choose from rubber with corrosion-resistant plating or stainless steel braided hoses with a protective jacket.
-
OEM-Style Construction: Rubber hoses match factory originals, while stainless steel options provide enhanced durability and longevity.
-
Reliable Performance: Ensures consistent braking pressure and smooth operation.
Rubber vs. Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hoses
-
Rubber Hoses: Virtually identical to OEM hoses with added cad plating for corrosion resistance.
-
Stainless Steel Braided Hoses: Feature a clear protective jacket to prevent dirt buildup and increase longevity, plus rubber support inserts to handle movement and vibration.
Note: These hoses fit either the left or right side. We recommend replacing both at the same time for even braking performance. Clips are not included—see part #3113 if new clips are needed.
Built In-House to DOT Specifications
Everybody claims to have DOT "approved" or "certified" brake hoses, but do they? We felt you should know that the Department of Transportation has accepted and recorded WILD HORSES' designation symbol "*359" which was submitted in accordance with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 106, Brake hoses.
This symbol is crimped into each of our OEM style end fittings, as required by Standard No. 106 and identifies Wild Horses Inc. as the manufacturer of the brake hose assemblies you see here. We manufacture both our rubber and our stainless steel hose assemblies using state of the art equipment with the highest quality materials available. Bottom line is WH brake hose assemblies are made to the specifications set forth by the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 106, Brake hoses.
Put our hose assemblies side by side with the generic ones from others and you will see a big difference in the materials, quality and construction.

Asked by Steve Lange, April 27, 2019
Q: Do these hoses work on F 150 knuckle conversion brakes as well?
Answered by ☆ sales - May 1, 2019
A: It depends on the front axle hard lines. These accept a
7/16-24 hard line fitting. We have other hoses available with the same caliper end, to a 3/8-24 or 3/16 hard line fitting. Part #3188. One or the other should work for you depending on what else was used.
