Wild Horses extreme duty rear axles are the finest quality axles available. You'll have peace of mind knowing these spline axles are in your rig, so you can tackle the tough terrain with confidence. Q: Hello I have ID'd my housing as a 76-77 11X21/4. I will be running an ARB AIR locker and see the following note: NOTE: please choose 35 W/ARB if you plan to run an ARB air locker. Can I get 31 spline that will work with an ARB since I will not be upgrading the housing?
Thanks,
SP

A: 31 Spline axles are fine. The 35 splined axles with an ARB require the axles to be shortened, due to the large ARB cross-shaft. The note is only for 35 splined axles.

Q: With these axles do you run an axle seal? if not, what keeps the rear fluid from leaking?
Answered by ☆ sales - August 22, 2016
A: The seal is incorporated into the new tapered roller bearing. The bearing seals to the end housing.
