Q: I have a '72 and I am running a front cage, will this still fit or should a get the flat one for the 66-67?

A: Either pad normally works with a cage. The 68-77 would be a better choice for the defrost duct slots. 66-67 was different.

Q: Do you sell the hardware to intall this dash pad. My 71 Bronco does not have a dash currently. Thanks.

A: Unfortunately we do not have the hardware for the dash or pad by itself. The only way we currently have those fasteners is in our body bolt kit, #6-6502. Maybe much more than you are after.

All in all the new 1968 dash pad is a good looking dash pad . But for the $ 389 price tag one would think that they would put a lot more effort and quality into the finished product . Looking at it from the front side it looks great but when I flipped it around and looked at the back side backside first thing I noticed was the extra foam that fills the dash pad and gives it it's shape protruding excessively out of the holes that I assume they fill it through . Then both corners also have a excessive amount of foam built up in them causing it not to sit in the dash correctly . I had to cut the excess foam out of the dash pad taking care not to cut the vinyl .The second thing i saw was the vinyl that was cut to wrap around the back and then glued to the metal frame isn't glued / secured very well with every edge and corner curling back already so i had to glue the entire top and bottom edge of the vinyl down so it over wouldn't keep peeling off . Not to mention the entire metal plate on the back is just raw silver metal just asking to rust just like the original ones do , so I had to paint it with rust proofing paint . The third thing I noticed was all the holes that are pre drilled in the metal insert for the mounting screws are covered with the vinyl so you will have to take a blunt small rounded object and and feel for the hole then mark it then run screws through the spots you marked . I just feel for what ends up being $400 after taxes a lot more quality and detail could easily have been done . I know that in this day and time $400 dollars isn't a lot of money but when I hold the dash pad in my hands I definitely don't see $400 dollars especially when I have to do multiple things to it to make it fit , keep it from rusting , and find and punch out the mounting holes myself right out of the box . I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A NEW DASH PAD FROM HERE I WOULD DEFINITELY TRY ANOTHER SELLER FIRST .
