Asked by Rick F, January 16, 2022

Q: I bought a project pile of '66 parts 2 yrs ago. I believe the doors are original '66 as the window frames bolt on. I've read the striker location may be different on '69 and newer. Is has been a frame off restomod and has been painted and body mated to the chassis now. Ready to build up the doors. Will this 68-77 kit fit my early doors? If not do you have a kit for the earlier doors?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - January 17, 2022

A: No, not this kit. We have a similar kit for the early doors, though not advertised, to reduce confusion. The part # is the same, but with 66-67 rather than 68-77. DOORKIT66-67B. You would need to call to order it, or ask in the comments section online.

Asked by Anthony, August 27, 2021

Q: Does this kit come with step by step instructions? Also if black is chosen instead of chrome will it be a lesser price since the black items are cheaper priced than their chrome counter parts?

1 Answer

Answered by sales - August 30, 2021

A: No, the kit does not include any guidance or instructions. The price will change, as the parts change. Adding, removing, or changing finishes will affect the price.
