Q: Mine doesn't work. Can this replacement work with a USB style charger for my phone?

A: Yes, this replacement lighter with socket, when installed with power, will allow you to use a car style phone charger. We also have socket #7055. It can be used for custom mounting, or in place of the lighter, if you make the mounting hole in the dash larger.

This installation was so smooth and quick, besides a little work with the ground was a POC. The only thing is you cannot change its knob for the one I have in aluminum for all switches.
