Asked by Eddie, September 12, 2020
Q: We received the stock rear fuel tank and noticed the new one has 2 very small pipes/lines next to the fuel intake and intake vent. What are these for? Do we need to plug them since our '69 Bronco tank did not have these before? Thanks.
Answered by ☆ sales - September 14, 2020
A: The extra ports are for Broncos with an evap or vent system. If you do not need those ports, they can be capped or plugged. You do not want to leave them open, as they will allow fuel and fumes to get out of the tank.
Asked by wes, April 13, 2020
Q: I have a 67 bronco. The rear filler neck has the vent tube in front of the main filler neck. Also, my old fuel tank had the vent tube to the front. When I look at the replacements, the vent tube is rear of the main filler neck, and also on the new stock style replacement tanks. Can I use my old filler neck with the new stock style replacement tank that has the vent to the rear?
Answered by ☆ sales - April 13, 2020
A: Yes! Normally you will just run the rubber 5/8 vent hose around the neck, to the other side to connect to the new tank.
Asked by Rodney D Temple, May 7, 2019
Q: 1977 Ford Bronco. I am looking for the rear plastic fuel tank for the 1977. I can find tanks for 1976 and 1978. What is so different?
Answered by ☆ sales - May 8, 2019
A: The 1977 Bronco had a 1 year only fuel tank amongst many other 1 year only items. Some will adapt and early style tank, or use an aftermarket tank. Modifications would be needed either way.

Answered by ☆ sales - December 20, 2016
