Early Bronco Fuel Tank Filler Hose
Replace the old fuel filler hose on your 1966-77 Ford Bronco rear main tank with a new fuel-rated filler hose from WILD HORSES.
Typical Early Bronco Fuel Filler Hose Dimensions
- 66-76 Ford Bronco: 1.75" ID Straight Hose
- 1977 Ford Bronco (Factory Tank): 2.00" ID x 2.25" ID Tapered Hose
- 1977 Ford Bronco (23 Gallon Tank): 1.75" ID x 2.25" ID Tapered Hose
We also offer a 2.00" ID straight hose which is useful for some aftermarket fuel tanks.
If you are unsure which hose your Bronco needs, you may want to check the O.D.(outside diameter) of your fuel tank fill tube to be sure you are ordering the correct one. Most Broncos will use the 1.75 X 1.75" or 1 3/4" hose. Some replacement tanks use the 2.00 X 2.00" or 2" hose. The '77 Broncos usually use the 2.00 X 2.25" but if an aftermarket tank is installed, it may need a 1.75 X 2.25" hose. When you install a body lift, the rear stock fuel tank stays with the frame as the body moves up. Because of this, the filler hose should be replaced to prevent stretching which can lead to failure of the hose. Sometimes you can get away with leaving the stock hose in place but once you get a 2-3" body lift, we recommend changing it at the time of the body lift installation. The side tank moves up with the body and therefore does not need to be changed.
This hose is 12" long.

Q: Which filler hose do I need for the M1A1 tank?
Answered by ☆ sales - January 3, 2022
A: The M1A1 takes 1.75. 66-76 Broncos are normally the same as well, 1.75. 77's are different, requiring a reducer from 2.25 at the body, to 1.75 at the tank.
