Front center emergency brake cable for 1966-76 Ford Broncos. This is the non-threaded type cable found on most early Broncos. This parking brake cable connects the e-brake pedal inside the cab of the Bronco with the center adjustment pivot assembly under the chassis. This parking brake cable requires the factory frame-mounted pivot assembly for operation.

Q: What size are the C-Clips that hold these aftermarket cables in place, in case we lose one or need replacements?

A: The cables come with 3/8 - E clips. A 3/8 - C clip may work as well.

Installed the rear brake and emergency brake cables in my 72 Bronco. They fit and work perfect.

wow what a big improvment over the old one

These brake lines are much smoother than stock, but the "nodules" at the ends of these after market cables more like a cylinder and much longer than the spherical OEM Ford E-Brake lines. Save yourself some time and grind excess material off the end of the cables to ensure you can slide them into E-Brake Pedal attachment point. I wrestled for way too long, and had to take everything apart again. Double Check your clearance at the E-Brake in the cabin prior to crawling under the Bronco.

High quality cables and easy to change out from the originals. Works great and only took about 2 hours to take all the brakes apart and install all new cables.
