Q: What is the thickenss on the panel?

A: The thickness is approx. 1/16 at the thinnest and almost 1/8 at its thickest, the diamond.

Q: why won't this fit a 1977 bronco

A: The driver side quarter panel design is different, due to the 77's gas door configuration.
