Q: What does the steering shaft clamp do?
Does it take place of the old rubber?
Answered by ☆ sales - June 29, 2020
A: The shaft clamp holds tension on the steering shaft and column bearings, to limit up and down or in and out movement of the steering shaft in the column. It only takes place of the stock steel shaft clamp, if missing or a replacement is needed or wanted.
