Asked by Chris Robertson, December 19, 2020
Q: I've had these in my bronco for quite a while now and one of the bearings needs to be replaced. Can I reinstall a seal and use the factory bearing or do I have to use a specific tapered roller bearing?
Answered by ☆ sales - December 22, 2020
A: You will need to use a Set20 tapered bearing and seal, like our #8628. The stock bearing has a smaller inside diameter.
Asked by Dave, April 13, 2020
Q: Do I use the stock axle retainer plates with these axles?
Answered by ☆ sales - April 13, 2020
A: Each axle comes with a new HD retainer for its application. You do not need to re-use your old retainers.
