Q: Will the painless harness 28 circuit fuse box fit inside the fuse box cut out?

A: No, not without modification. It is designed for the stock fuse box. You could modify it to fit.

Q: If a Bronco has a cage, do most guys have to remove the cage to make room for installation?

A: We would plan on loosening the cage. You may be able to sneak it in there, but every Bronco, cage, and installation is a little different. Too different to guess.

A: Just hang on to it. You may be able to put in the new glove box, or some other safe place.

Q: Does the Tuffy security box have an accomodation for the fuse panel?

A: Yes there is a cut out and a cover plate included. The cover plate is used when you are not putting the fuse panel in the glove box.

A: Damian,
The Tuffy glove box will completely replace your stock glove box with an all metal 16 gauge box. These things are tuff (pun intended) and include the pry-Guard II locking system.

The fuse box opening is to small for the painless wire system fuse box. I needed to cut the opening larger to accommodate the new fuse box. Other then that it is nice to have a glove box that clears the toolbar and opens all the way.

I was very happy with the tuffy glove box. It took me about two hours to install and that is only because you must take your cage out. The Tuffy box is super well made and fit in the original spot like it belonged there. I highly recommend the product.

Although Wild Horses is on the other side of the map from me, I have always been impressed with how fast they get any order I place out to me.
